Wayfinding: Humble Recovery
Today, as we keep on figuring out whether or not these parables from Jesus really do show us who we are supposed be, we’re looking at two that might be tough to swallow and the characteristic that, for me, is the hardest to understand: humility. Understood incorrectly, humility often leads either to self-loathing or self-importance, but neither are where humility is supposed to take us and Jesus makes that plainly apparent in these two parables.
